Wholesale Purchase Policy

Applies To: Approved Wholesale Customers Only

1. Introduction

This Wholesale Purchase Policy outlines the terms and conditions applicable to all wholesale orders placed through our website or directly with our team.
By placing a wholesale order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all the terms mentioned below.

This policy helps maintain transparent communication, ensure smooth logistics, and protect both parties from misunderstandings.

2. Wholesale Pricing

  1. All prices listed for wholesale customers are product price only.
  2. Prices do not include:
    • GST
    • Shipping/Freight
    • Packaging charges
    • Handling charges (if applicable)
  3. Pricing may vary for:
    • Large orders
    • Heavy stone-based products
    • Special/custom orders
  4. Wholesale prices are exclusive to approved wholesale customers and should not be shared publicly.

3. GST Policy

  1. GST is charged separately on all wholesale invoices.
  2. GST percentage depends on the product category:
    • 12%: Certain wooden/handicraft items
    • 18%: Stoneware, kitchen items, home goods, and others
  3. GST will be clearly mentioned in your final quotation and tax invoice.
  4. Customers must provide a valid GSTIN (optional but recommended).
  5. We do not allow GST corrections after invoice generation.

4. Shipping & Logistics

  1. All wholesale orders are shipped through VRL Logistics (primary partner).
  2. Shipping charges depend on:
    • Weight of shipment
    • Number of boxes
    • Packaging type
    • Distance and VRL rate card
  3. We will provide the estimated freight after reviewing your wholesale request.
  4. Shipping timelines vary by location and VRL operations.

5. Shipping Payment Terms

Shipping payment is decided based on VRL branch rules:

A. To-Pay (Freight on Delivery)

  • You pay shipping charges at the VRL delivery branch.
  • Available in many cities depending on VRL regional rules.

B. Prepaid Freight

  • Some VRL branches do not support To-Pay.
  • In such cases, freight charges must be paid before dispatch.
  • We will inform you after verifying with VRL for your delivery location.

6. Packaging Policy

  1. Most orders require normal packaging, included in the product price.
  2. Heavy, fragile, or large stone products may require:
    • Extra bubble wrap
    • Carton reinforcement
    • Wooden crates
  3. Extra packaging charges (if any) will be communicated before dispatch.
  4. Packaging cannot be changed once dispatch processing begins.

7. Payment Terms

A. For Orders Below ₹20,000

  • 100% advance payment is mandatory.

B. For Orders Above ₹20,000

  • 50% advance payment for order confirmation
  • 50% before dispatch, unless VRL To-Pay freight is applicable
  • If To-Pay freight is available, only the product amount is required in advance

C. Accepted Payment Methods

  • UPI
  • IMPS / NEFT / RTGS
  • Bank transfer

D. Payment Confirmation

  • Send payment screenshot/UTR number for verification.
  • Dispatch will begin only after successful payment confirmation.

8. Order Approval Process

  1. You submit wholesale request with selected quantities.
  2. We review your request and prepare the quotation including:
    • Product Pricing
    • GST
    • Shipping
    • Extra Packaging (if any)
  3. Once you approve the quotation and make the required payment, the order will move to processing.

9. Order Modification / Cancellation Policy

Strict No-Modification Policy

Once an order is confirmed and payment is received:

  • ❌ You cannot add/remove items
  • ❌ You cannot change quantities
  • ❌ You cannot change the delivery location
  • ❌ Order cannot be cancelled

This is because:

  • VRL booking and packing process starts
  • Logistics weight records cannot be altered
  • Stock allocation is locked
  • Packaging team begins work immediately
Order cancellation is only possible before payment, not after.

10. Dispatch Timeline

  1. Normal wholesale orders dispatch within 1–3 working days after payment confirmation.
  2. Heavy stone items or specialty items may require additional time.
  3. We will update you once the shipment is dispatched.
  4. Tracking details will be provided once available.

11. Damage & Breakage Policy

  1. All products are packed securely with strong materials.
  2. For VRL shipments, damage responsibility lies with VRL, as per transportation rules.
  3. We assist with:
    • Claim filing
    • Providing invoice & packaging photos
    • Communication with VRL
  4. We do not replace/ refund items damaged in transit unless VRL approves the claim.

12. Returns & Refunds

  1. No return or refund is allowed for wholesale orders.
  2. Returns accepted only if:
    • You received the wrong product
    • Wrong quantity (verified case)
  3. Claims must be raised within 24 hours of receiving the shipment.

13. Compliance & Legal

  1. All invoices are generated with proper GST breakdown.
  2. We comply with Indian GST laws for wholesale transactions.
  3. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of [Your City Name] courts.
