Returns and Exchange Policy

This policy governs the terms and conditions for returning or exchanging products purchased from nomz.in (the “Site,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We aim to ensure a hassle-free experience if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase.

1. Eligibility for Returns and Exchanges

Your purchase is eligible for return or exchange only if it meets the criteria in the table below.

Exceptions (Non-Returnable Items)

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Products marked as “Final Sale,” “Clearance,” or “Non-Returnable.”
  • Aromatherapy or wellness products (e.g., essential oils, diffusers) that have been opened or used due to hygiene reasons.

2. Conditions for Return

For any eligible return or exchange, the product must meet all of the following conditions:

  1. The return request must be raised within the specified time frame (48 hours or 7 days, as above).
  2. The item must be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition that you received it.
  3. The item must be in its original packaging with all tags, instruction manuals, and accessories intact.
  4. For products damaged in transit, you must provide clear photographic evidence of the damage to the product and the original shipping box.

3. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

To initiate a return or exchange request, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Send an email to trade.nomz@gmail.com with the subject line: “Return/Exchange Request – Order # [Your Order Number]”
  2. Provide Details: In the email, clearly state:
    • Your Order Number.
    • The specific product(s) you wish to return.
    • The reason for the return (e.g., Damaged, Defective, Wrong Item).
    • For damaged or wrong items, attach clear photographs or a short video showing the issue.
  3. Wait for Approval: Our Customer Care team will review your request and photographic evidence. We will send you an approval confirmation within 2 business days, along with instructions for reverse pickup or shipping.

4. Reverse Pickup and Shipping

  • Reverse Pickup: For products confirmed as Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Item, we will arrange a free reverse pickup from your delivery address.
  • Self-Shipment: In rare cases where reverse pickup is not available at your location, you may be required to ship the product back to us. We will reimburse the standard shipping cost (up to a maximum of ₹150) upon receipt of the product and a valid courier receipt.

5. Refund and Exchange Process

A. Refunds

  • Once the returned item is received and passes our quality inspection, we will initiate the refund.
  • Refunds will be processed as per our detailed Cancellation and Refund Policy.
  • Note: We will only process a refund if the item is returned and accepted.

B. Exchanges

  • If you requested an exchange for a wrong or defective item (e.g., exchanging a defective mortar for a new, same-model mortar), we will dispatch the replacement product within 1-3 business days after receiving and inspecting the original item.
  • If the exact item is out of stock, we will offer you a refund or store credit.
